Down-to-Earth Innovations, founded and led by Ann Thrupp, PhD., offers a variety of professional consulting services to advance sustainable, equitable and organic agriculture and food systems, natural resource management, business sustainability and social responsibility, food security and justice, wellness, and on related issues. The services include program and project management and leadership, education and training, research, strategic planning, technical advising, sourcing, certifications, and other capacities to develop, research, implement, and promote “down-to-earth” innovations in these fields. Ann has worked in multiple roles in the United States and internationally (in private, public and non-profit sectors) on a broad range of issues related to agriculture and food systems, resource management and sustainable equitable development. She partners with diverse organizations, groups, and individuals to address challenges, facilitate and apply creative solutions, and catalyze effective change. Ann is fluent in Spanish, is active on boards of non-profit organizations and associations, a recipient of many awards, fellowships, and honors, and has over 75 publications.
